Mr. Thakor’s practice focuses primarily on preparing and prosecuting patent applications. His technical expertise includes medical imaging, medical devices, neuroscience, neural engineering, and digital and analog circuitry.
Prior to joining WAVS IP, Mr. Thakor received his B.S. and M.S. in the field of biomedical engineering where his research focused on applications of medical imaging technologies including functional magnetic resonance imaging and terahertz interferometry. Mr. Thakor’s research experience also includes application of the chronic intermittent ethanol model to study the potentiation of GABA(A) receptors.
