Dr. Glade’s practice focuses on preparation and prosecution of patent applications and due diligence in a wide range of technologies in the chemical, materials science, semiconductor, instrumentation, and software fields.
Dr. Glade earned his J.D. from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law, where he graduated Cum Laude. While in law school, he served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Claudia Wilken of the United States District Court of Northern California. He received his M.S. and Ph.D. in Materials Science from the California Institute of Technology, where his doctoral research focused on the thermophysical properties and crystallization of the Zr11Ti34Cu47Ni8 metallic glass-forming alloy. Dr. Glade has authored numerous scientific publications and has presented his research at several scientific conferences. He has research experience in industry, government laboratories, and academia.
