WAVS IP is proud to provide a respectful and supportive environment for our staff. We value the contributions of our staff and realize that they are essential to the continued success and prosperity of our firm. Because we are not a litigation firm, we provide a lower-stress environment than that of many law firms.
As an IP-focused law firm, we have created a work place in which patent secretaries, foreign paralegals, IDS paralegals, annuities specialists, docketing specialists and accounting personnel can hone their IP-related skills. Some current WAVS IP employees joined the firm as receptionists or office services personnel and later became patent secretaries, docketing specialists or part of the firm’s administration.
We offer a generous benefits package that includes not only a 401(k) plan but also a profit-sharing plan. Staff employees are entitled to use the firm’s cabin near Lake Tahoe and are eligible for firm-sponsored trips after 5 years of employment.
