Daniel C. Keeler
Mr. Keeler’s practice primarily focuses on preparing and prosecuting patent applications. His technical expertise includes biophysics, electronics, computer software, and networking.
Prior to joining WAVS IP, Mr. Keeler was as a member of the Tiesinga Neurophysics Lab at the University of North Carolina, where he analyzed several possible biophysical mechanisms underlying attention and stimulus selection in the human brain. Previously, he worked as a research assistant at Lawrence Berkeley National Labs, focusing on error analysis in computational models of the diffusion of atmospheric pollutants in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Mr. Keeler earned his J.D. from the U.C. Berkeley School of Law in 2013, receiving jurisprudence awards in patent prosecution and in a statistics course. While attending U.C. Berkeley, he fulfilled the pro bono pledge through his volunteer work at several organizations. Mr. Keeler graduated cum laude from U.C. San Diego with a B.S. in physics. He also received an M.S. in physics from the University of North Carolina.
