Dr. Larsen’s practice focuses primarily on preparing and prosecuting patent applications. His technical expertise includes chemistry & materials, pharmaceuticals, life sciences, and molecular modeling.
Prior to joining the firm, Dr. Larsen was a patent agent with Global Patent Group for four years. Before beginning practice he was a tenure-track professor at Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania and a post-doctoral associate at Butler University, studying antibiotic and fluorescent probes for mycobacterial hydrolases. He completed his Ph.D. at the University of Notre Dame, where his dissertation involved studying the solution conformation dynamics of polyketide natural products. He is an author of 10 peer reviewed articles in scientific journals.
