Harold Guo
Mr. Guo’s practice encompasses patent procurement and portfolio management; infringement, validity, and freedom-to-operate investigations; patent portfolio evaluations for licensing and M&A due diligence; and litigation support. Mr. Guo has drafted and prosecuted applications in a broad range of complex technologies such as 5G wireless technologies, augmented reality, artificial intelligence, autonomous driving vehicles, LiDAR, optical devices and displays, MEMS, semiconductor design and manufacture, and robotics. Mr. Guo has worked with a wide range of clients, from solo inventors to Fortune 500 companies.
Mr. Guo completed his J.D. degree at The University of California, Davis School of Law. Mr. Guo obtained his bachelor’s degree in Precision Instruments and master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Tsinghua University. While pursuing his master’s degree, Mr. Guo researched the performance of high-grade machine tools used in advanced manufacturing.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Guo worked as a patent attorney at a firm based in DC area.
Mr. Guo is fluent in Mandarin.
