Paul Dara

Paul has 21 years of experience in prosecuting patents for companies such as Agilent Technologies, Keysight Technologies, Avago Technologies, and Ford Motor Company (3 years in a law firm and 18 years in independent practice).  The subject matter of the patents includes semiconductors, electronic circuits, optical circuits, telecommunication circuits, software, and autonomous vehicles, to name a few.

Paul has over 15 years of industry experience, having worked as a hardware design engineer, systems engineer, and sales engineer, in several multinational companies such as Nortel Networks, Hitachi Telecom, and Seiscor Technologies (Division of Raytheon).  Paul has designed hardware circuits (switching circuits, PLL timing circuits, TDM circuits, multiplexing circuits. analog circuits, RF circuits, optical circuits) and systems. Paul is very familiar with telecommunication products (digital loop carriers, switching products, DSLAMs, IADs, Gateways etc.) and communication networks.  Over the course of his engineering career, Paul has obtained five US Patents in telecommunication areas and is extremely comfortable with component level design (discrete components, ICs, FPGAs, etc.) as well as systems level design of various telecommunication products (circuit switching systems, packet switching systems, multiplexing systems, etc.).
