Ryan Otis

Mr. Otis’s practice focuses primarily on preparing and prosecuting U.S. and foreign patent applications. His expertise includes mechanical devices, consumer products, and manufacturing equipment in fields such as semiconductor fabrication tools, wearable fitness trackers, and photovoltaic modules.

Prior to joining WAVS IP, Mr. Otis was a Director of IP at View Inc. and Mr. Otis also previously worked as a litigation attorney. Mr. Otis received his J.D. from the University of San Francisco School of Law and his B.S. in mechanical engineering from UC Santa Barbara where he served as Vice President for the engineering honor society Tau Beta Pi and graduated with High Honors and Distinction in the Major.
